ABOUT US
The Electronics and Telecommunications Field has been studied in Galati since 1990. In this time the field has been coordinated by several departments:
The Electrotechnics DepartmentCatedra traduce(1990-1994);
The Automatics and Electronics DepartmentCatedra traduce (1994-2004);
The Electronics and Telecomunications catedra(2004-2010);
The Electronics and Telecomunications Department (2010 - prezent).
The Department has the mission to teach and research, mainly, in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications.
The department coordinates the bachelor, the masters and doctoral study programms
The research conducted far exceeds the field of Electronics Engineering, including basic and bordeline aspects of other engineering fields, such as Systems Engineering or Information and Computers Technology.
The Department has 19 members: 3 Professors, 3 Associate Professors, 5 Assistant Professors, 3 Assistants, 1 Junior Assistant, 1 Engineer, 1 Tehnician.
